2. NEGOTIATING SKILLS - Media buyers have fierce negotiating skills because it is their job to negotiate complex deals with media outlets in order to ensure those buys include added value. Value added to the buy might include sponsorship's, events, bonus spots, etc. 

3. CAMPAIGN GOALS - a great agency will safeguard your brand and guarantee the media buy is in line with the over-arching strategy and marketing efforts for your company.
